Woman Feeling Skin The Thermage® procedure (Thermacool) uses radio frequency waves to cause tightening of the skin. This cosmetic procedure does not require invasive surgery, chemicals, needles or lasers. Thermage has a sophisticated treatment tip that generates heat in the deeper layers of the skin while maintaining a cooler temperature on the surface. The collagen fibers tighten which results in visible tightening of the skin. Thermage has been used effectively on the forehead and jowl areas, and has also proven to be successful in the treatment of severe recalcitrant acne.

Thermage Tool Thermage is a non-invasive procedure and requires no recovery or down time. Results usually appear gradually in three to six months, although some patients have seen an earlier response.
