Trichloracetic Acid Peel
Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) is a non-toxic chemical which has been used to perform skin peels for over 30 years. TCA has the advantage of creating a fresh natural appearing complexion while preserving the normal skin color.
TCA produces a medium-depth peel and is very effective in treating blotchy pigmentation, severe sun damage and fine wrinkles. This procedure takes approximately 45 minutes and is performed in the office with a topical anesthetic. Most patients require about seven days to heal from an average TCA peel. After only one week of recovery, the skin reveals a very fresh, smooth and natural appearance.
