Our staff is composed of board-certified dermatologists, a board-certified Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine physician, experienced physician assistants, and licensed aestheticians.
Nancy L. Silverberg, M.D., Board Certified Dermatology
Dr. Nancy Lee Silverberg graduated from Cornell University and the St. Louis University School of Medicine, both with honors. She completed residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona and in Dermatology at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Silverberg is currently associate clinical professor of Dermatology at UCI and on the medical staff at Hoag Hospital, where she serves as chairman of Dermatology. She is also on the Medical Executive Committee at Hoag Hospital and serves on the board of the 552 Club. She is Board Certified in Dermatology, specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer and is a fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery. Dr. Nancy has been in private practice in Newport Beach since 1985. Our office conducts many clinical trials for new drugs and procedures for the FDA.

Larry F. Silverberg, M.D., Board Certified Internal Medicine
Dr. Larry Silverberg, F.A.C.P., F.A.C.E.P. graduated from the University of Colorado undergraduate and Medical School. After three years in the Indian Health Service, he completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Arizona where he was on the faculty as a Consulting Internist in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. Dr. Silverberg subsequently served as Associate Dean at the College of Medicine, University of California, Irvine before joining this practice in 1990 as a Consulting Internist. He remains active in teaching at UCI as a Clinical Professor of Medicine, and is an active member and former Chairman of Medicine of Hoag Hospital Medical Staff. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine, with Subspecialty Boards in Geriatrics and Critical Care.

Susan W. Cox, M.D., Board Certified Dermatology
Dr. Susan Weems Cox attended the University of Nevada undergraduate and Medical School. She completed residency training in Pediatrics at the Oakland Children’s Hospital and in Dermatology at Stanford University. Dr. Cox is an active member of the Hoag Medical Staff and has been in private practice since 1989. She is Board Certified in Dermatology.
Wieke Liem, M.D., Board Certified Dermatology
Dr. Wieke Liem graduated from Stanford University and UCI Medical School, both with honors. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at the Oregon Health Sciences University and residency in Dermatology at UCI. She continues her involvement at UCI as an assistant clinical professor of Dermatology. She is Board Certified in Dermatology.
Melissa Watcher, M.D., Board Certified Dermatology
Dr. Melissa Watcher graduated from UC Davis and UCI Medical School, both with honors. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at UC San Francisco and residency in Dermatology at UCI. She continues to volunteer her services at UCI and the VA Medical Center in Long Beach. She is Board Certified in Dermatology and specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer.
Hui-Kyung Tina Kim, M.D., Board Certified Dermatology
Dr. Hui-Kyung Tina Kim graduated with high honors from Harvard University and Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia and in Dermatology at the University of Illinois, Chicago, where she served as Chief Resident. She is board certified in Dermatology and is on the Hoag Hospital Medical Staff.
Polly Vallone, Certified Physician Assistant
Polly Vallone Certified Physician Assistant Polly Vallone graduated in the top ten percent of Standford’s Physician Assistant Program. Before attending Stanford, Polly worked at the UCLA Emergency Room in Santa Monica. She also graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCSB. We are excited to have Polly as our first Physician Assistant on staff. Polly performs Botox, Juvederm, Restylane, Fraxel, Fractional CO2 Laser, photofacial procedure , photodynamic (PDT) therapy, laser hair removal, pulse peels, chemical peels, Excimer Laser for Psoriasis and Vitiligo and other dermatological procedures.
Anna Slezingr, Aesthetician
Anna is a graduate of Elegant Beauty College in Laguna Hills and is a certified aesthetician. She is well-versed in clinical treatments designed to improve the appearance of all types of skin conditions. Anna specializes in microdermabrasion, chemical peels, acne treatment and oxygen facials. Her professional experience is rooted in understanding the unique characteristics of skin care products and their efficiency in treating common skin disorders.
Teri Schreiner, Aesthetician
In the skin care field for more than 10 years, Teri is a Licensed Aesthetician and Certified Medical Assistant. Teri is an excellent Aesthetician and can help you significantly improve the tone, texture, and appearance of your skin. Specializing in microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and combination skin care treatments, Teri customizes each procedure so that you are getting the best possible treatment for your unique skin care needs.
