30s Skin Care: Your Guide to Choosing the Best Products
Entering your 30s can mean different things when it comes to your skin. Marriage, raising children, success in your career, or maintaining an active single life and friendships are many of the common milestones that define your third decade. It is also the time in which the signs of stress, sun damage, and natural processes of aging begin to show.
In The Daily Muse article, “30-Something Skincare: What You Need to Know,” our Physician Assistant here at Silverberg Surgical & Medical Group, Polly Vallone, lent her expertise to help women make their best choices when it comes skin care products. According to the article, Polly suggests looking for products that contain Retinol A, Vitamin C, and are in a formula that allow for skin penetration. It’s also a good idea to have a critical eye, as well as a pinch of skepticism when reading the ingredients on the label. Use your judgment to distinguish between the claims versus the products that really work.
Lastly, Polly emphasizes the importance of experimenting and asking questions. With hundreds of products available, a little trial and error should be expected. Additionally, don’t be daunted when seeking advice about your skin care concerns. Inquiring with an appropriate salesperson or skin care professional is a good place to start.
